Richard I

Richard I is a traditional local pub and is the only Young's pub in the area. Located on Royal Hill, the street was originally called Gang Hill dating from the times of the press gangs that kidnapped the unfortunate drunks and carted them off to sea. The food is freshly prepared and cooked on the premises with classics such as Young's beer battered fish and chips, and sausages and creamy mash. A barbecue is available in summer.
